The Ferragamo collection debuted at Milan Fashion Week on September 27. Maximilian Davis’s vision reinterprets the Jazz Age with archival accuracy and a modern twist, resulting in a sophisticated and contemporary take on the free-spirited spirit of the era.

I had the great please of attending the Ferragamo’s Spring Summer 2026. The collection is a vibrant tribute to the Roaring Twenties, blending jazz age glamour with modern style. Creative Director Maximilian Davis drew inspiration from the house’s archives, particularly a 1925 image of silent film star Lola Todd draped in leopard print. The collection features:
– Key Looks:
– Fluid silhouettes with dropped waists and low backs, emphasizing a relaxed yet assertive femininity
– Speakeasy suiting with sleek silhouettes, broad lapels, and tonal scarves
– Leopard and zebra prints on airy dresses and translucent blouses

– Accessories:
– Iconic Hug bags reimagined in patent, woven leather, nubuck suede, and stamped croc
– Sculptural “S” heels and caged leather pumps with Gancini chain details
– Fringed embellishments and feather details adding a touch of Roaring Twenties glamour

– Inspiration:
– The Harlem Renaissance and its impact on fashion, with zoot suits and expressive dandyism
– The “Africana” movement, featuring textiles imported from Africa and the Caribbean as status symbols

Davis’s vision reinterprets the Jazz Age with archival precision and modern bite, resulting in a sophisticated, contemporary twist on the era’s free spirit. The collection premiered at Milan Fashion Week on September 27, 2025.
