A Coordenadora-Geral Executiva das Artes Performativas do CCB, Cl\u00e1udia Belchior, foi reeleita para um mandato de dois anos como Presidente da ETC \u2013 European Theatre Convention, a maior rede europeia de teatros p\u00fablicos, refor\u00e7ando o papel do CCB na “lideran\u00e7a cultural europeia.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

A reelei\u00e7\u00e3o decorreu no \u00e2mbito da Confer\u00eancia Internacional de Teatro da ETC, o F\u00f3rum STAGES e a Mostra de Teatro da Let\u00f3nia, em Riga, que reuniu 300 diretores de teatros europeus para debater temas como verdade, nacionalismo e sustentabilidade.<\/p>\n

Sobre a renova\u00e7\u00e3o do seu mandato como Presidente da ETC, Cl\u00e1udia Belchior afirma que a “ETC continuar\u00e1 a defender a liberdade de cria\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica e a promover pr\u00e1ticas mais inclusivas e representativas, refletindo a complexidade das sociedades europeias. A diversidade \u2014 de pessoas, linguagens, territ\u00f3rios e perspetivas \u2014 n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas um valor cultural, mas uma condi\u00e7\u00e3o fundamental para uma democracia viva e participativa.”<\/p>\n

A rede ETC continua a crescer, com a integra\u00e7\u00e3o de dois novos teatros-membros: Teatr Nowy Poznan (Pol\u00f3nia) e Theaterhaus Jena (Alemanha).<\/p>\n

Presente na confer\u00eancia, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez-Arroyo, deputado da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia com a pasta da \u201cEuropa Criativa\u201d, destacou a import\u00e2ncia da ETC na defesa da liberdade art\u00edstica e da diversidade cultural, enquanto Juris \u017dagars, Diretor-Geral do Teatro Dailes, sublinhou o simbolismo de acolher o encontro na Let\u00f3nia.<\/p>\n

A presen\u00e7a do Centro Cultural de Bel\u00e9m neste f\u00f3rum refor\u00e7a o seu compromisso com a sustentabilidade, a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o internacional e a promo\u00e7\u00e3o da liberdade art\u00edstica no setor cultural europeu.<\/p>\n

Uma verdadeira revolu\u00e7\u00e3o verde no teatro<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Theatre Green Book acaba de ser constitu\u00eddo como uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o sem fins lucrativos, tendo como Presidente Abigail Pogson. A estrutura tem como miss\u00e3o apoiar teatros, companhias, equipamentos culturais e equipas t\u00e9cnicas a tornarem-se mais sustent\u00e1veis, atrav\u00e9s de orienta\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas e padr\u00f5es comuns para o setor.<\/p>\n

Este passo foi dado no \u00e2mbito do encontro internacional Sustainable Theatre: Global Challenge, que teve lugar no National Theatre, em Londres, reunindo mais de 500 participantes de 23 pa\u00edses e 285 organiza\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

A confer\u00eancia, organizada em parceria com o Theatre Green Book, “marcou um passo decisivo para a sustentabilidade no setor das artes performativas,” segundo a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Mobilizar os teatros para envolver o p\u00fablico na a\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica, manter a sustentabilidade como prioridade estrat\u00e9gica, partilhar conhecimento e boas pr\u00e1ticas e garantir redes abertas e inclusivas foram alguns dos objetivos tra\u00e7ados durante este encontro.<\/p>\n

Entre os oradores destacou-se Georg H\u00e4usler, Diretor de Cultura, Criatividade e Desporto da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia, que sublinhou o papel do Theatre Green Book como \u201cuma verdadeira revolu\u00e7\u00e3o verde no teatro\u201d.<\/p>\n
